Announcing the 2022 CSME National Design Competition
CSME is proud to announce the return of the CSME National design competition. This year, the competition is open to all undergraduate students across Canada, not only those participating in Capstone courses. We are looking for projects that highlight how young engineers are aiming to tackle climate change, affect social changes and demonstrate exceptionalism in mechanical engineering. There will be cash prizes for the top projects in these categories as well as recognition from CSME community.
See the rules page for important dates and information on the submission package.
CSME National Design Comptetition Cancelled for 2020
Unfortunately due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the competition will be cancelled for this year. There was a great amount of disruption done to Capstone projects across the country, and we were not able to achieve a critical number of applications for the competition. So following the lead of the CSME board, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the competition this year. For the teams that did submit an entry, your entry will be automatically entered into the competition next year.
